Program Profile
PURPOSE: To minimize risks, to create a healthy and safe environment, to eliminate hazards at their source, to minimize legal, conscientious and financial responsibilities as a result of work accidents, and to increase the profitability of the business. OBJECTIVES: Having sufficient background in mathematics, science and related subjects, being able to interpret and evaluate data by using the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field, being able to identify problems, being able to identify the effects of physical, chemical, ergonomic and psychological stressors in the work environment, being able to identify possible accidents and problems in the workplace. Able to make action plans to prevent occupational diseases, In addition; To raise individuals who are respectful to historical and social values, socially responsible, aware of universal, social and professional ethics, who follow the developments in science and technology with the awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning, and who have the ability to apply their profession by following the work done in the constantly renewing industry and service sector. .

Research Areas: Training the personnel for Occupational Health and Safety needed by the Service Sector and Industrial Organizations, and as an auxiliary personnel in the occupational health and safety organization as a Technician or after graduation as an "Occupational Safety Specialist" with occupational safety expertise certificate training. To train "Occupational Health and Safety Technician".
Physical Facilities
Our school has classrooms, projectors, occupational health and safety equipment and first aid training materials that will meet the theoretical and practical training needs of the Occupational Health and Safety program.

Rules for Ranking
Students studying in this program must have a General Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.50/4.00, and must have completed all courses and a 30-day internship with a letter grade of at least C in order to graduate.
Transition to Higher Degree Programs
Students who graduate from the Vocational School Occupational Health and Safety Program can continue their education in the faculties they choose in their own professional fields with the Vertical Transfer Exam, by being exempt from the courses they have taken, or they can directly enroll in the 3rd grade of the Business and Economics departments of Open Education Faculties.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates can be employed in the private sector or government positions within the scope of occupational health and safety technician or expertise.
